Some days I like to be as simple as possible. This day was no different. I wore a very plain plum dress, a black cardigan, and black wedges. I wanted to spruce it up just a tad, so I paired this outfit with patterned tights and a thick black belt around the waist. This particular pair of tights is my absolute favorite. I pray nothing ever happens to them because I’m not sure if I’d be able to buy the same pair again. I also wanted to add a bit of color to my face. Below I’m wearing my favorite lipstick, Covergirl’s Euphoria.
As you can see I don’t have any jewelry on, and it’s not because I don’t want to wear it. My earring holes have been damaged due to the heavy earrings I’ve been wearing. So, I’m giving my poor ears a break. Ladies, as much of a fashion trend it is to wear big heavy earrings, please take care of your earring holes by giving them a break from time to time. 🙂

Ladies and gentlemen, here’s the Fit Of the Week. I like this look, again, because I so comfortable. I fell in love with this shirt the moment I tried it on, and I like to pair it with things you wouldn’t normally see. That’s exactly what I did here. I am really into colored jeans that are flattering of course. Since, I am able to wear them to work, I definitely stray away from colors that are too bright and look child-like. I love these boots! I actually have them in black as well. Cognac or camel, whatever you want to call it, can be paired with a lot of colors, and different styles.

I prefer sneakers over heels any day. With this outfit, I combined one of my favorite screened tees with my favorite type of sneakers thus creating a very comfortable, but trendy look.
